Rubio Monocoat Pre-Aging is a water-based, non-reactive pre-treatment that gives new wood the look of a reactive stain without depending on the wood's tannin, so results are consistent on every species. Authentic 6 is part of the Authentic Ammonia Look group in the 10-color range, and all Pre-Aging colors can be mixed. It is a pre-treatment, not a finish: seal it with Oil Plus 2C after 24 hours.

Rubio Monocoat Pre-Aging is non-reactive, so it gives the same aged look on any species. Rubio Fumed is tannin-reactive and only works on high-tannin woods such as oak.
