Can I use a water-based finish over Bona DriFast stain?

Yes. Bona DriFast stain is compatible with all Bona finish systems, including waterborne finishes such as Traffic HD and Mega ONE. Let the stain dry fully first.

One gallon of Bona DriFast stain covers 800–1,000 sq ft. Bona says buffing the stain on can roughly double that coverage.
