The SikaBond (formerly DriTac) Engineered Wood Floor Repair Kit corrects hollow spots and popping in glued-down engineered wood floors caused by voids in the adhesive between the flooring and the subfloor.
How does the DriTac engineered wood floor repair system work?
With the SikaBond (DriTac) repair system you drill small holes through the engineered flooring, inject the repair adhesive into the void with the syringe and metal tips, then plug the holes with the included dowels.
Do I need the kit to use the DriTac RS-2 refill?
The DriTac RS-2 refill is adhesive only. You inject it with the syringe assembly and metal tips from the SikaBond (DriTac RS-1) Engineered Wood Floor Repair Kit, which also includes drill bits, dowels and a dowel punch.
