10" · 60 TEETH

The CMT P10060 is a 10", 60-tooth blade from CMT's ITK Plus Finish line, a finish tooth count for smoother crosscuts in hardwood, plywood, trim and flooring, with less splintering than lower tooth counts. It is sized for 10-inch miter saws and table saws. CMT builds its ITK Plus blades with hi-density carbide teeth and a non-stick Orange Shield coating that CMT says keeps the blade cooler and reduces pitch build-up.

What is a 10" 60-tooth CMT blade used for?

A 10" 60-tooth CMT blade is a finish blade, used for smoother crosscuts in hardwood, plywood, trim and flooring, with less splintering than lower tooth counts. More teeth give a smoother cut; fewer teeth cut faster.

What saw does a 10" CMT blade fit?

A 10" CMT blade is sized for 10-inch miter saws and table saws. CMT lists a 5/8" bore for P10060; also check the maximum RPM printed on the blade against your saw.

Is a 60-tooth blade good for cutting hardwood flooring?

Yes. A 60-tooth CMT 10" blade gives clean crosscuts in hardwood flooring and trim, with less splintering than a 24- or 40-tooth blade, though it cuts a little slower.
