Norton Durite Paper Edger Disc, 7" x 5/16", 16 Grit, Box of 50 (66261135073)
16 GRIT · 50/BOX
Norton Durite paper discs are made for hand-held floor edgers, for sanding along walls, in corners and on stairs where the big machine can’t reach. They use silicon carbide grain on a heavy paper backing, and Norton says the line reduces dish-out of the softer springwood on strip and plank floors. 16 grit is a very coarse grit for the heaviest removal: thick or gummy old finishes, paint, and badly cupped or uneven floors.

Why use silicon carbide edger discs?
Norton says its Durite silicon carbide edger discs reduce dish-out of the softer springwood on strip and plank floors, and rates them for soft to medium hardness woods.
When should I use a 16 grit edger disc?
On a Norton Durite edger disc, 16 grit is a very coarse grit for the heaviest removal: thick or gummy old finishes, paint, and badly cupped or uneven floors. Most refinishers run the edger through the same grit sequence as the belt sander.
